As a licensed medical clinic, we provide a variety of medical services for the women that walk through our doors each day. Whether you think you might be pregnant, have an STD, or just want to discuss your options, our caring staff is ready to listen and provide you with the resources you need.
If you think you might have an STD, it’s important that you don’t try to diagnose yourself! Warning signs vary by condition, might overlap, or might be absent altogether. When you make an appointment with us, a trained medical professional can perform tests, identify the source, and then recommend the appropriate course of treatment. If you’ve had unprotected sex or are experiencing common pregnancy symptoms, we can offer you a confidential pregnancy test at no cost to you. Pregnancy tests detect the hormone hCG, which is found in the urine of women who are pregnant. This hormone can be detected as early as 7 days after conception, or 21 to 24 days after the first day of your last period. One of our compassionate staff members will administer the test and discuss your results with you immediately following the test. Think you might be pregnant? Find out if you’re experiencing common pregnancy symptoms.
If your pregnancy is confirmed by one of our pregnancy tests, the next step is to get an ultrasound. An ultrasound provides a medical confirmation of pregnancy, determines the location of the pregnancy, fetal heartbeat and how far along you are. An ultrasound will also detect the location of the pregnancy and whether you might miscarry. Pregnancies that develop outside of the uterus are called ectopic pregnancies and can be life-threatening. We care about YOU and your health, and are available to discuss your options and answer any questions you might have throughout the process! Do you more questions? Learn more about why getting an ultrasound is important!
Are you unsure of what do to next? When you make an appointment with us, you have the opportunity to speak with one of our trained, compassionate counselors to sort through your options. We are here for you, no matter what! Your health, privacy and overall well-being are important to us.
